Yes, this smells like AMen once did (maybe still does), but I get a nice coffee and cardamom accord in the opening and middle that I absolutely love. The late stage is all AMen patchouli, but I still like that vibe. Just wish this had a bit more punch as AMen used to. Debatable if it is worth the price of a bottle, but it is a good scent.

As others have stated, this is essentially an interpretation of the A*Men line, bringing elements of both the original and the Pure Coffee versions to the table. I used to enjoy the Mugler lineup in their early days, so naturally gravitated toward this one when it was released. But the more I tried to wear it, the more it just felt disjointed, and my interest quickly waned.

I thought I couldn't lose with these spice and coffee fragrance notes. I was wrong. This an impossibly green, aromatic cardamom and not a spicy one. I love cracked cardamom pods after meals, and using it recipes. But this is not the cardamom I know and love. This one never gets past that eucalyptus stage to the more resinous, sweet side. It overshadows all the other notes. After several hours I get the tiniest hint of nutmeg and coffee, but that's not enough to save it. Very sad.

Bought the ticket, enjoyed the ride, glad I didn't buy the season pass! Not worth the price of admission, IMO. YMMV.

Almost a neutral, probably should be when price is considered. Will let someone else enjoy the rest of my sample.

It reminds me of two things: the spices I use when I make boiled wine for one side and A*MEN for the other side. I can smell a faint coffee note, which is a weird combination when I'm thinking of all those wine spices. I guess it smells pretty from the trail it leaves, but up close it's a bit of a strange mix.

When smelling it from the cap, I thought it was a beautiful, powdery and feminine amber. But when spraying it, I got nice spices (pepper and cardamom) that quickly went into a fruity coffee (or fresh, dark cocoa of the fruity type). It's beautiful, but I don't think it would be classified as a feminine fragrance.
