Andrew Goetz of Malin+Goetz was inspired by Amsterdam's floating flower market, Bloemenmarkt, to found Atelier Bloem. AB Iris is a lovely purple floral bouquet, just a tad sweet for my tastes but way short of the grape juice too often peddled as iris, thanks in part to some spicy cardamom. Which is to say, it's not at the level of Xerjoff's original Irisss, but better than the reformulated version. It is unisex, but I think I'd prefer it on my wife–and I have just enough left for her to try it.

Makes me want to explore the rest of the line.
