This is an intriguing scent! I was prepared to dismiss it as being too sweet, based on my first application. At that point, it seemed very influenced by vanilla and simply too sweet for my taste.
I did a second application and got a different impression. I was used to the sweet note and in fact no longer noticed it. I could detect leathery oud and a good array of spices. A smoky incense note floated around, as well as a paper-and-ink sort of chord. The scent does not seem sweet now, but well balanced.
I'm glad I didn't stick with first impressions. I like the scent.
