A fruity and dirty oud that’s very potent, a bit cloying but so well done with good performances. Special.

I love animalics, so when I saw castoreum and civet listed I got all excited...well , turns out this smells a lot more polite than I expected...the oud smells authentic and of high quality , but is somewhat discreet...there is a very nice animalic touch , but again , much laid back...the caramel has a smoky bittersweet profile...I don't find this scent to have a gourmand type sweetness...as far as any comparisons go , this made me think of an animalic/oud
A*Men flanker...a tiny bit of a boozy feel...overall impression is of an overall woodiness...interesting and OK but I would definitely sample first....not going on the to buy wish list for me....

Full on unwashed butt candy.
Strong oud animalic. Marry some oud with the leathery waxy buttness castoreum can give off, makes this smell like the poo you get from dirty oud, but with a little less fascination. There is carmel there, and a sugar sweetness that really clash with the animalics. This fragrance does not smell good. Pretty unenjoyable. Strawberry gummy candy stored in the back of a homeless mans underwear. Dries down with the animalics dying, calming, and becoming a carmel gourmand. Lasts about 5 hours. Thumbs down.

The opening blast exudes a balsamic, rich and nigh faecaloid civet-ish caramel sweetness, soon to be given even more edge by a castoreum-based terse but creamy undertone. An unusual start, not for the faint-hearted, and in spite if its richness it just manages to be neither overly intrusive, nor too unbearingly sweet.

Later the sweetness becomes less dirty with the addition of a fairly straightforward vanilla impression, with woodsy additional components being evident. Of special interestnis a well-applied oud note, which, quite uncharacteristically, blends extremely well with the rest, is of good quality and much less domineering that is most other recent fragrances containing oud. An oud that is a good team player, and not an overwhelming primadonna.

I get strong sillage, excellent projection and eight hours of longevity on my skin.

A winter warmer, rich and intense, with civet combined with a sweet mélange. Very well blended whilst not very convincingly structured at times, especially as far as the non-oud woods are concerned. 3.25/5.

This and Hayat is one of the best fragrances I discovered in 2015. Incredibly well blended, the ingredients appear to be on very high end of luxurious products. Very high quality oud and other woods that appear after few hours remind me of a Roja aoud line. The is a hint of sweetness in the opening that with time dims and woodsy notes become more apparent. Incredible fragrance. I encourage you to try it. Sergio Momo did it again matching - if not exceeding compositions from Xerjoff & Sospiro.
