Falkar is contemporary, austere, sophisticated. Amost abstract. Strong projection and sillage, yet not too loud. How can I explain it? Like a famous middle-aged writer entering the room - soft-spoken, yet getting everyone's attention with that radiating charisma.

Opens with castoreum that is balanced by sophisticated citrus I cannot define - but if forced, I'd say bergamot. That castorium note stays present through the long life of the fragrance, but it gets highlighted by actors that briefly come on the stage and swiftly go away. Its like a massive piece of black wood that is briefly lightened by a projector here and there. Pleasantly animalistic. I get more goudron/tar and shoe polish than leather per se.

Excellent sillage. Longevity is 8-12 hours. 1-2 sprays is enough.

An interesting equestrian leather perfume. It’s edgy in the opening, but not quite over the top. It’s fairly linear and mostly wearable. The longevity ends up being too much for me and the base has more harshness than I was hoping for.

Falkar starts and ends with leather. It's almost as medicinal/band-aidy as Gucci Guilty Absolute but not quite. I get some nice florals that surface after the opening fades. Those florals stay for a couple of hours before giving way to dirty, woody leather. I'm more into Ombre Leather-type leather scents, so this is too harsh for me, but any leather lover should try it.

Very good projection and all-day (and then some) longevity.
