Viridia goes for a distant offshoot of Angel.
But instead of Angel’s fairground rides of patchouli and candyfloss, we’re served up with modest vanilla – painted over with galbanum and sprinkled with incense.
The effect of this underpowered affair is like a giant, wooden, ice cream cone – green varnish flavour : it sat by the door of an ice cream parlour, but is now fading in a dusty cellar, surrounded with empty choc-ice wrappers and draped with dead flowers.
