Les Inédits : Bergamote Boisée
Au Pays de la Fleur d'Oranger (2013)

This slightly citrus-enhanced bergamot is indeed greeting me straight from the beginning in a delightfully refreshing way, and soon take a white floral turn. The second part of its name is justified further down in the heart notes, with a wood background now evident; this wood is a touch generic on my skin.

The base adds a pleasant white musk, as well as a very smooth patchouli, the latter with only a tinge of harshness at times.

The sillage is moderate, the projection very good and the longevity six hours.

A delightful bright summer scent, made of high-quality notes and very well blended. The bergamot is enhanced by the added componenents and is a bit more integrated into the whole as, for instance, in Le Labo's bergamot. Lovely. 3.25/5.
