Les Inédits : Figue Fruitée
Au Pays de la Fleur d'Oranger (2013)

The fig in the opening blast is quite well done, with an apple-peach-style mixed fruit basket providing and added tone; the fig is medium-sweet and moderately ripe.

The middle notes have a pleasant wood note added to it, with hints of rosewood present at times, and a creamy texture adding depth. A fairly dark musky impression characterises the base, with a nigh-honeyed undertone, made more colourful by whiffs of a light leather and a somewhat brighter smooth ambery undertone; the amber is quite faint and without any smokiness.

I get moderate sillage, good projection and a very impressive ten hours of longevity.

A nice fig-centred autumnal product, not too sweet and composed of ingredients of very high quality. 3/5.
