Any of the options in the 71 series have my heart, such a brilliant contraption of a scent & a very good complex variant of Oud for Greatness.
Yes some folk get whiffs of the Popular BR540, but thats all! The Oud in this adds a much needed complexity to the basic BR540 vibe & thats what makes this a winner for me.
Sillage is fabulous & for a limited edition from 2018, its well aged now in 2024 & a total banger when heading out for functions.

As stated below, this one bears similarities to some other recent, popular releases. It comes across to me as a sweetened synth overload compared to earlier releases from this house. A hard-pass for me, and a significant disappointment compared to the original Limited 71 release from two years earlier.

Smells good, but too similar to Liwa / Baccarat Rouge 540 on the drydown. Very latex-y.
