The company says:
This scent was created for the Torrance Art Museum exhibit “Lynchland” Jan – March 2022.
Strange and beautiful, the films of David Lynch vary in subject, but are linked by a unique dreamlike logic that has captivated audiences and established itself as its own genre. The Oxford English Dictionary defines “Lynchian” as “juxtaposing surreal or sinister elements with mundane, everyday environments, and for using compelling visual images to emphasize a dreamlike quality of mystery or menace.
Wisps of fresh spicy Pink Pepper and herbal sweet Clary Sage give way to a velvety floral Carnation, the extremely rich and intoxicating flower with hints of honey and a dollop of feisty clove for good measure. Patchouli along with Vetiver whisks you into a dark corner of the world and hones in on endless dry ambery tobacco with a touch of Birch Tar to represent the inevitable plume of smoke from David Lynch’s cigarette.
