A bad perfume can be due to three different faults.
The first, and most common these days is bad materials; perfumes made of plastic iris, plastic fruits, plastic vanilla and plastic patchouli...
The second fault is bad blending, where a perfume is lumpy like a bad packet soup.
The third is bad (aesthetic) taste, and that’s the problem here.
Michelle is good at first sniff, it made me go ‘oh, that’s good’. But it’s just too sweet; madly - badly ---- sweet.
A blancmange of white flowers, aldehydes, creamy vanilla and not much else, it’s bad because it’s too sweet - too good; ‘c’est trop bon’ as they say round here.
To be fair, this is a sample of pure parfum, not the best concentration for this sort of thing, but then – I wonder; would any concentration of this be good apart from homeopathic?

The most striking thing about this classic scent from the house of Balenciaga is how perfectly balanced it is. Creamy white florals (tuberose, jasmine) lie on a base of subtlely mixed spices (cinnamon, ginger, perhaps even fenugreek??). This is very feminine, but softly so.
A true masterpiece from 1979. A shame it is discontinued, but you can find it easily on Ebay. Don't hesitate to purchase. It's very affordable and very worth it.

This is the most beautiful of all of the Balenciaga fragrances for women. Yes, it has a hint of jasmine, white flowers, cinnamon, and spice. It is very feminine and sexy. This is the kind of frag people never get tired of smelling. Wonderful !
This was my first fragrance bought for me by my father at the tender age of 11...i have fond memories and remember it to have a hint of cinnamon and spice...
