Antique pipe so old

All that's left is wood

That will never match
What's coming through the window

Midnight Ride is a very accessible niche woodie that actually smells different from all the rest, and especially from mainstream offerings.  Everybody does "pencil shavings" and "wood and spice", but not the impression that what you 're smelling is both good and (incongruously) over two centuries old.  This fragrance has good strength, solid longevity, admirable complexity, and definite uniqueness.  The balance between the various facets and aspects is comforting.  It's not too dry, nor too humid - not too fresh,  nor too spicy.  But most importantly, it has feeling.
