A late 90s "fresh and clean" scent. Nothing earth shattering. It is pleasant and works well for office use and casual days. Now that it's discontinued the crazy pricing has started. That being said save your money.

Slightly minty and peppery woods and a brisk vetiver-esque accord in the drydown makes it feel clean and fresh.

This one for me epitomizes the rule of smell the fragrance on your body - not just on a sample. I really liked Modern when just smelling the bottle - really thought it would be something peppery, cedary. Then I sprayed it on. After an hour, I went to the bathroom and scrubbed my wrist. Really soapy smelling (before I scrubbed my wrist!)...gave me a headache. World of difference in how it smelled on. No thanks.
