Manual Cross has got guts as he sticks a thumb in the eye of the IFRA. Love every minute of this flash back to the days when men's fragrances had identity because this definitely has it. Forest green with REAL OAKMOSS! Oh what a beauty that lasts all day into the night. If only my Acqua di Selva lasted half as long the stars would definitely align. The $85 price tag for a 1oz bottle is worth every penny. Can't or shouldn't be worn every day because, well, it just shouldn't. I intend to own every fragrance thisan puts out.
To me this isn't a unisex fragrance as I don't think a woman could wear this as most of the notes are found in masculine fragrances. The juice leans heavily masculine anyway so there you go.
Manual Cross, never stop what you're doing because I, for one, am very impressed!

Review from a woman, if that matters. I first tried this via a sample, and without much hesitation went full bottle. Despite the many reviews categorizing this as a “manly” scent, I personally don’t put stock in gender-specific scents, and I have no problem wearing this. It is verrry potent: more than one spray, stay away. My first impression is always a pee-like note, but this morphs within 30 minutes to a herbaceous, heady, warm and mossy masterpiece that easily lasts 7 hours. I don’t get any smokiness, just lovely bitter green moss that is very sophisticated. I believe restraint in application is the key to success with this one. Fully endorsed, just…go easy.
This is a very pleasant, elegant green barbershop scent. It has a simple, yet refined composition and feels smoother and more natural than other similar fragrances like Polo, Esencia, and Lapidus. I would highly recommend giving it a sample.
Beautiful, green fougere, sheep green aura smoothed by florals that stay in the background.
Hangs on the sweet side of the fougere genre, but not in the sugary, gourmand way - more in the sweetness of florals way.
Great, niche outing into a classic genre.

Not sure how to describe this one… potent, one spray will fill a room. Camphorus/menthol/green opening is a bit much for me but the drydown is worth it. Cant stop smelling myself. Lots of notes that are all blended into a dry green meditative sent for me. The use of high quality materials is evident. Not sure how often i will wear it as it is very artistic but it is one of my favorite unique scents…the definition of niche.
