This is the second best of the now 4 (original plus 3 flankers) Mr. Burberry.
The best goes to the Indigo flanker IMO, which should have been the original.
This EdP version is purely for dressing up and looking fancy.
Sweet, spicy, woody...ultimately this is a nutmeg-gingery spice affair well dressed with supporting acts.

Undeniably a great fragrance that receives a lot of compliments but lacks greatly in performance. For this reason its an often underated fragrance. A lot of people tend to go for it due its value for money but are then disappointed by its performance, not something I would blind buy unless you test to see how it works on your skin.

It opens up with with fresh and spicy notes before developing with a slight warmth kind of vibe. Its not something i would wear during the day. More so suited for evening/night or winter occasions. The strength of it is mediocre, once the scent has opened up and evolved, it becomes very bleak and lifeless. Becomes very much like a deodorant in all honesty. The overall performance is poor, skin scent for myself after 1 hour. Almost nothing after 3 hours!

Ha! Likeable, fruity, mainstream "shopping mall" scent.

There is a style connection with the YSL Y EDP, however the character is different.

A very good job by Burberry. A lot of people will like this one, even those who are put off by invasive synthetic sweetness.

Personally this scent reminds me of some past, more relaxed times when in Croatia shopping malls were something "new", some decade after the war was over.

Mr. Burberry EDP is quite unisex in my opinion. Girls might pull it off without any problem.

Occasions - spring definitely however in autumn evening this could be a prince if not a king.

Conclusion: cheap, placid, mainstream but also very appealing and chic!

For some reason, I keep getting a pest control spray vibe with these. This one is not as bad though. Just seems like too much going on with this Parfum version. 6/10

After the fruity-citrus, minty opening, smells like LIDG (not Extrême / Eau de Parfum) as it dries down. This phase lasts for 6-7 hours. Looks like they do share some similar main notes but instead of cocoa in LIDG the Burberry goes with cinnamon and amber. After that middle phase goes away, your left with just a soft, kinda dry amber scent.

Projection is average but it does last all workday on my skin.

I have to say that that when I received this as a Christmas gift from my parents in 2017 I put my basenotes elitist hat on immediately. The fragrance was a part of one of those standard fragrance bundles with a matching deodorant. Initially, I was thinking...why?...Why the hell would my parents buy this knowing that I'm a huge fragrance collector? My initial response waned rather quickly as I was touched by the gesture. I figured whatever...I'll give it a fair shake first and I'm glad I did. A few points below I think need to be taken into consideration.

Does it smell good? --- YES
Does it have great longevity --- YES
Is it versatile? --- YES
Was it challenging? --- NO
Nice bottle? --- YES
"Crowd Pleasing?" ---YES

Are you getting something that is slightly unique among a crowded designer fragrance counter? I think so. Mr. Burberry didn't follow the overtly sweet tonka overload or the ever growing list of designer aquatics. Yes, it does have cardamom which seems to be the new tonka...sure. But, I think this one is quite pleasant. It's fresh but not overly in your face like some of the "just out of the shower" type stuff out there. It's got a little spice mixed in as well and a decent synthetic-woody base which to me stands out among other designers out there. I put this on the same playing field as Ralph Lauren Black and Double Black. Somewhat unique, fresh, long lasting and appealing to the masses.

Should you go out and spend the MSRP on this? No. I don't think it warrants that. However, I would pick this up if it were discounted or at a deal rate in a product bundle. Hats off to Burberry for this one, aside from London, I've dismissed the line in the past. Mr. Burberry has me paying attention to the line again.
