Ambroxan is the main part of the opening blast, lots of it, quite alcoholic initially - think touches of Grappa and white rum. Soon a green note emerges, with a celeriac-like vegetal undertone, with reminiscences of Claude Montana Pour Homme at times. A mineral undertone is noticeable too. This is a fresh cetalox-imbued start that is quite likeable and with some unusual touches.

The drydown adds a dash of damascone-related sweetish white pepper, with the herbal notes expressing a bit of a fizzy characteristic further down the olfactory line.

T he base sees most notes evaporate gradually, leaving a residual of the ambroxan, which is bolstered by a lashing of white musks - the muscone that is. Towards the end, a nonspecific woodsiness is lurking in the background.

I get moderate sillage, very good projection and eight hours of longevity on my skin.

Whilst be initial phases of this spring scent is quite interesting and not without some originality, the later stages are rather generic and egregiously - and self-declared - synthetic without any sufficiently redeeming features; it is not a proudly synthetic scent that dazzles with exciting new combinations. A tad tangy and of a bright sternness. Overall 2.75/5
