Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab

This starts out gorgeous, with a strong earthy base of wood notes and a bright overtone of lemongrass. It's an unusual note but is handled very well and doesn't turn too sharp or overpowering. The florals are just present enough to feel a little sexy. If it could somehow stay as it is when first applied I would buy a full bottle right away.

Unfortunately the things I like about it fade over time and it turns into a slightly dirty, powdery patchouli scent. I'm especially sad at how quickly the lemongrass note fades, as it is great paired with the jasmine.
