Starts with lychee (canned), lemon (functional), and 'rose' (Perfumers Workshop Tea Rose version).
The mid is powder, iris, the same 'rose,' the functional lemon, and the canned lychee - the whole going slightly sour.
As it travels from heart to base, the scent maintains the powdery quality of SweetTart candies.
The base concludes with a rubbery musk.

The whole experience is a series of near-misses for me.
I like lychee-rose accords, but this one is off.
I like makeup iris rose scents, but this one is off.
I like musky drydowns, but this one is off.

Niche: Purple Amethyst doesn't feel well-blended, well-considered, or well-constructed.
Sticking this in destash.
A shame, because the presentation is so pretty.
