Night and Day
Ankara (1930)

This scent is quite difficult to find, as are all the Ankaras. Just over a dozen were launched, all in the year 1930, but a few of them surface on Ebay and Etsy from time to time.

Presented in a clear crystal bottle in the shape of the Eiffel Tower with a beautiful blue crystal stopper, it has a distinctive presence.

The scent is that of a very feminine floral mixture, sweet and heady, with jasmine and honeysuckle predominating. Nothing unusual or outstanding, but perfectly decent for 1930.

Very nice, but nothing to go out of your way for.
