Night Veils : La Selle

Another product of the Night Veil series, another leather-based fragrance; this one is closer to Le Gant than to La Botte:

The opening has the leather in it already; a smooth and soft leather but not a bright one - it is more on the somber side, and it lacks any harsh or sharp components. The last qualification denotes the lack of any harsh birch tar or truly convincing oak moss on me.

The drydown adds a soft musky undertone that does not contain any particularly faecaloid characteristic.

I get moderate sillage, good projection and seven hours of longevity on my skin.

A soft and restrained leather that is a bit dull and unexciting at times. 2.75/5.
