Hard "metallurgical-vegetal" fragrance to deal with (conceptually antithetical to Mistero, Preludio d'Oriente or Assolo). Cale' Fragranze d'Autore Ozio is woody resinous, peppery, gingery-like, plastic (mastic), musky, grassy-lymphatic, weirdly soapy (in the background) and with a bizarre by soon heady "burnt licorice/barely cut grass/xerox toner-iron-rubber-like" vibe a la CdG Odeur 71 (also several Humieki&Graef's jump on mind, I mean Multiple Rouge for its metallic tartness -which is not in here so fruity anyway- and Askew for its sort of peppery-resinous-grassy-soapy accord). The aroma starts with a stable burnt plastic fresh grassy vibe and gradually becomes musky, wild and cedary with hints of "ash tray-like" smoke/toasted tobacco. The aroma is hardly evolving and potently raw (or better, gloomy). Several sharp mysterious floral elements provide floral-aqueous (metallic) vegetal tartness (a tart pineapple-red berries presence??). The pepper amalgamates all the elements with its molecular throughout swirling piquancy. An interesting experiment by Silvio Levi.
