What did you buy today? (2024)

Got myself another 100ml bottle of Pasha de Cartier. I think it's from the mid-late 2000's? Haven't tried a more recent version than 90's, so I'm looking forward to the top notes hopefully being a bit more intact.

Myself Le Parfum. The best of the line and the only one I'd own. Didn't plan on a purchase today but this is really pleasant. The reason I purchased it, because it smells to me like a high quality DG Pour Homme. Strange right? But it does. It isn't into way in the dry down do you really smell the vanilla and amber. I don't like vanilla or gourmands, but in this, vanilla doesn't really stand out and this doesn't smell like a gourmand. The vanilla is silky and adds a touch or sweetness and I wouldn't really call this a sweet fragrance. What are your thoughts on this?

I really love the clean soapiness of this scent and performance is good, so I purchased a backup. There's only one bottle left, new in wrapped box, for only $44.99 including shipping. This is the lowest price I've seen.

It's a mega-soapy scent from 1999 that's a precursor to Dior Homme (2005) and Prada Amber pour Homme (2006)!

I strangely also have all 30ml bottles of NYI. My current bottle and I think (need to check as it has been a while) 3 x30ml backups.
