Red Ishq
Anfas (2019)

Anfas is a line in the prolific Al-Rehab Saudi Arabian / UAE house of perfumes and oils. Red Ishq straddles the line between a fruity, floral amber and a gourmand scent: the sweetness is palatable and powdery, not sugary. Rich, velvety, and subtle at once, the saffron and raspberry notes are prominent for me. Red Ishq is related to but separate from Special Red Ishq or Special Ishq, which is forthrightly sweet. Produced in 2019 by the nose Asim el Qassim, the marketing language is both an inflated fantasy and a good description: "Red like the blood that pumps in the heart, the fragrance initiates with the same color, including raspberry swallowing saffron, and jasmin. A warm powdery and delicate render shades over the whole with the smell of talc and amber accord." Anfas is a luxury line, with beautiful gold-colored bottles decorated with sealing wax.
