This one falls into a small category of fragrances of my own designation, which I like to call "stuffy floral clove bombs." Other entries include Trumper's Milk of Flowers (seriously, just rub some ground cloves on yourself and save the money) and MPG's Secret Melange (he should have kept that one a secret). The cloves in Richmond are not as overwhelming, as there are some florals, woods (especially patchouli), and musk to provide some balance. The overall impression is warm, opaque, a bit murky, and slightly stuffy. It doesn't do much for me and smells antiquated to my nose.
