Riflesso
Trussardi (2017)

Very nice, clean, fresh and versatile scent but unfortunately performance is an appointment.
Moderate longevity, moderate sillage and very low projection

as other members have already said, this perfume is reminiscent of YSL L'Homme, for sure! It's very pleasant and could be a nice alternative if you find the performance of the YSL too weak for your taste.

Solid release from Trussardi.

Opening reminds me of YSL la nuit. No caradmom in the notes but that's what it smells like. It's modern, sweet, sexy, masculine and dark. Hangs around like that for a couple of hours.

The drydown isn't anywhere near as good but still nice. Lasts about 8 hours as a skin scent. This is not a big projector. Should be great for date nights. Young guys can wear this but feels like it needs some maturity to be taken seriously.

Finally a more than decent release from the House of Trussardi after long time, a discreet, well balanced, smooth, slightly smokey, suedish, classy-refined fragrance, a sort of lighter Ysl L'Homme Parfum Intense (considered in its dry down) as ideally combined with the classic Burberry for Men. I detect a sort of smokey/cedary (tobacco-oriented and slightly powdery a la Remy Latour Cigar and Burberry) and vaguely floral-earthy spark combined with a soft tonkinian/suedish final dainty vibe. Soft spices are perfectly modulated and combined with hints of delicate smoke (seasoned woods), tonka, musky cedarwood and balsams. Vetiver, lavender, bergamot, apple and musk provide a soft sense of dry discreet freshness while the kind of white (slightly balmy) suede/woods accord conjures me partially scents a la Solo Soprani and L'Erbolario Corteccia. Dry down is veguely floral, mossy-rooty and restrained, unveiling in interesting harmony a contemporary urban trail with a sort of vaguely vintage/exotic touch a la Etro. Riflesso represents definitely a significant jump ahead for Trussardi after several recent depressing releases (and mediocre remakes). Not bad guys.

This is YSL L'Homme as imagined by Trussardi.

I prefer it to L'Homme...this is more interesting, meaning it could pass for a flanker of the YSL offering. Perhaps YSL L'Homme Reflexion (reflection in Franch, as Riflesso is Italian.)

Riflesso is without any doubt a very good smelling cologne, mildly dry, almost "cold", absolutely not creamy, lightly fruity and quite bitter at the same time, mature and pleasantly reassuring.
It clearly shares some similarities and notes with Costume National Cyber Garden except for the strong vinyl note which is totally absent here. I would dare to say it's a nice mix between La Nuit de l'Homme and Cyber Garden:

30 percent La Nuit de l'Homme / 70 percent Cyber Garden

In my opinion it's more suitable for 30+ or self-confident boys
