Latest Reviews of Rocker Fantasy
For most of my life, I have always been infatuated with the idea of being a famous rock star, and a lot of the men that I have always been most drawn to are the rocker types that are black leather clad, with long hair and lots of tattoos! Plus, one of my favorite musical instruments has always been the electric guitar! Probably the only other thing that I love more than a guitar player is the lead singer in a band! ;)
So, naturally, I love perfumes that have a rock star theme, and especially ones that claim they are a "rocker chick" scent! :D And personally, if I'd been in charge of naming this one I would have called it either "Rocker Chick" or "Rocker Girl." (Maybe Rocker Grrrrl? ;)) For marketing purposes it just sounds less awkward!
So, I bought a sample of this, and I have to say, I'm definitely not disappointed! It reminds me a bit of an Esprit perfume I own called "For my Fantasy", probably due to the fact that both of these scents have almost exactly the same vanilla, musk and woody base! "Rocker Chick" has some amber in the base too, but that's the main difference, and the amber isn't really noticeable. Mainly, I would say "Rocker Fantasy" is a lot like "For my Fantasy" by Esprit, but with coconut cream and blackberry liqueur thrown in, also giving this fragrance a somewhat tropical vibe. Regardless of the coconut notes though, I wouldn't say that "Rocker Fantasy" comes across like a summery or beach scent, which many coconut-vanilla scents do!
It mainly comes across as warm, sensual, alluring and sexy. I would say it's a great sexy evening fragrance, and great for date nights! It's also a perfume I would definitely prefer in colder weather. I find I almost never like vanilla fragrances very much in the summer, but it's great for fall and winter, although I don't think it's something that I would ever make my signature scent, or wear every day! But as I said, it's great for special occasions! Additionally, I found that I always received the nicest compliments whenever I wore "For my Fantasy" by Esprit as well, so I know this is a type of perfume that people tend to like on me! :) So, I might think about picking up a bottle of this fragrance. Also, I think I might recommend it to anyone who is looking for a nice warm, comforting vanilla perfume. Definitely try a sample of this one, I don't think you'll be disappointed! :)
