I went through an entire sample bottle of this trying to remember to review it. It's so forgettable that I wore it for probably a week and barely thought about it after I put it on. I love citrus and pepper so I was excited for the top notes, but it was such a synthetic citrus, not at all fresh-smelling. It's the kind of perfume that people who aren't into perfume will say smells "like perfume." It's not unpleasant, but neither is it enjoyable.

Smells like real rose, like the dried roses, not the fresh roses. The freshness comes from bergamot. It is sweet floral, not ol' lady type of rose. This floral scent is very light and soothing. may need to be close to smell it.

Time tested: winter
Colors I think of: red, orange.
Words I think of: genuine, Pure,
Season: spring, summer, day, night.

This is a fantastic scent for a women. I'm shocked it's not getting more thumbs up. I really enjoy this one on the ol' lady and she does too. To my nose, it smells like legitimate roses and not synthetic. That's really good considering nobody actually uses real ingredients anyway.

When this is first sprayed, the room is filled with a sharp rose note and a small note of something woody. The woody note actually smells a bit like the oud note in AdP's Colonia Oud.

Acqua di Parma's Rosa Nobile is indeed great smelling. It's only downfall is its lasting power, which is between 3 and 4 hours.

Acqua di Parma Rosa Nobile is a mainstream spicy/aqueous cedary-floral in which peony and lily of the valley appear initially as dominant notes (likewise citrus) in order to leave the final stage ready to welcome a violet/rose combo so cedary and soother (nearly at the end). Frankly a supremely mediocre scent, nothing distinguished or peculiar, a juice somewhat pungent and generic. Surely peony, lily of the valley, rose and a touch of musk provide a certain level of elegance and musky sophistication but nothing in here really deserves particular attention. Opening is mostly citrus, dry woods and sharp floral notes while hints of spices and metallic/sweet floral notes master the central stage. A synthetic rose (soothed and "muskied") comes out "on the last leg". Anyway, violet and peony are dominant on the rose, imo; their link with lily of the valley generates a really angular floral blade waving in the air. Nothing I'm going to recommend, this is sure. Honestly sillage is powerful on my skin and longevity is more than good. Yes, a depressing 2/5 is my humble rating.

Mandarin and bergamot in then opening, followed by a somewhat generic white floral drydown. A very nonspecific synthetic faint rose note is in the background, followed by a woodsy note. Mediocre, limited sillage and projection with three hours of longevity - unexciting. 2/5

Sweet florals and a sort of spicy note. Pleasant and pretty. The violet gives it a grey, almost aquatic note. Rather round and plump. Disappointed that the rose notes are not more prominent. Finishes with a hint of wood and amber.
Plus point: not heavy, not too sweet.
Minus point: where's the rose?
