Rose Pompom is a very sweet,romantic,realistic rose scent that would be suitable for a young and chaste (not chased)lady. It lacks personality as far as my taste is concerned and has no edginess or surprise. Whoever wore this wouldn't want you to muss up her hair or get her clothes dirty. She wouldn't contemplate going for a spin in a fast car, with the top down, without a headscarf firmly in place. In other words it is a very buttoned-up perfume.
To my mind this is just another uber-clean,fruity rose perfume that, in this case, costs a fortune!David Austin Evelyn is a better bet and easier on the purse.

I'm not generally a fan of very sweet perfumes, but this is the prettiest sweetie ever. The top notes remind me of a cosmetic product from my childhood, but this is the posh, grown-up version - light and sparkling pink florals, dripping with juicy raspberry and blackcurrant. It's too sweet and youthful for me to wear myself, but it's absolutely gorgeous - I can't stop sniffing my arm, it's a beautiful composition. The radiant sweetness softens within 20 minutes and the heart settles as a sweep of powdery rose and peony on a fruity-musky base.
This is an absolute delight - such a happy and optimistic scent. Projection and sillage moderate, longevity of around 6 hours. Glorious, makes me long for carefree childhood summers. I can't wait until my nieces are a little older - one of them will surely receive a bottle of this for their first fragrance.
