Latest Reviews of Roses de Chloé
"Roses de Chloe" is for the rose enthusiast who seeks a subtle complexity (white musk on dry down is softly recognizable). I would characterize this scent as being "feminine", as opposed to a unisex rose fragrance. I appreciate that "Roses de Chloe" is not powdery, nor overly green, and is not overpowered by heady oriental florals. I do highly recommend "Roses de Chloe" for those who enjoy a true rose fragrance with some subtlety, which lends itself well to customized, fragrance layering.
My search for a signature fragrance continues, until then, "Roses de Chloe" layered with "Tea Rose" (for added rose punctuation) by the Perfumer's Workshop is as close as I can find. I wear both very lightly (much less than one spritz each, as some people abhor traditional rose fragrances). The silage is about 2 to 3 feet, longevity approximately 3 hours. My style is both informally elegant, and avant-garde. Occasionally, I will wear "Roses de Chloe" with a spicy fragrant oil.
I look for a fragrance which makes me feel good, has traditionally elegant notes, with a gourmand voluptuousness. This fragrance comes very close, but not enough for me to settle on it as a signature. Ideally, I would prefer spices (allspice, ginger, pepper, amber, and something a bit like a dark caramel) mixed with three or four kinds of rose. In all, I highly recommend "Roses de Chloe" for its beauty and quality.

Tested a spray on my arm.

Beautiful soft floral. Feminine and sort of white smelling. Rose but not too intense.
Softer and more serene than the original Chloe. I think I prefer this one.

First thing that came across my mind when I smell this is fresh blooming roses and fresh brewed tea. Pleasant and refreshing to my scent buds. An uplifting smell for a pleasant day indeed. I love the smell of roses, it reminds me of love and romance.
I usually use it for office and day out to the mall. The staying power is great on my skin, lasts and the smell still lingers on my body even after a long hour. Usually will re-apply after 6 hours or so.
Has received compliments when I use my Roses de Chloe. A lady actually stops me at the mall to find out what perfume am using. And a male colleague has asked what am wearing so he can purchase it for his wife. Even though my husband does not enjoy the smell of roses, I will definitely re-purchase when am finished.

I got a sample of this and fell in love. Had to have a full bottle. Got the bottle and was extremely happy until I put it on. It is just way too powdery for me. Why do samples sometimes smell so different from the actual product?
It's a nice enough rose but nothing spectacular.

Bergamot and fresh roses - light, bright and fresh. The rose notes take on a fresh green tinge in the drydown, like rose leaves. It is pleasant but lacks depth and is quite generic. Nonetheless quite pleasant in summer. The silage is limited, the projection he same, and on my skin I get a longevity of three hours. Nothing too remarkable, pleasant, close to my skin and a good work scent.
