An unusual opening blast, combining a slim and never-cloying ylang-ylang with violet leaf that is used in a light-hearted manner with a green tinge.

The drydown adds a slightly darker sweet-and-spicy note, wit the sweet side stemming from magnolia and whiffs of oleander, and the very gentle spiciness form a Tahiti tiara, with whiffs of frangipani.

The base develops a salty touch eventually, owing to a ambergris impression, with undertones of white musks also present. A nonspecific woodsiness appears transiently in the background, without, at least on me, much of a specific sandalwood coming out as promised in the scent pyramid.

I get moderate sillage, adequate projection, and four hours of longevity on my skin.

A bright scent good fir summer, with adequate an original phase initially, but the second half being a tad too generic to entice. Still, the name is apt, unlike in so many perfumery products, and it is crafted well; alas the performance is poor. Overall 2.75/5
