This smells like 2/3 Escada Silver Light's fruit, laundry musk, and vanilla, and 1/3 Azzaro's Visit, especially the peppery notes. I like both of those blue boys and I like Samourai. We're breaking no new ground with this one but it's an easy reach for a lax, comfortable scent that's flexible as bamboo in terms of versatility.
Clean, fairly bright fragrance that reminds me a lot of Joop's Nightflight scent: Pungent, thick, and exuding watery "blue" vibes all the way.
It starts out brightly, then dims down like a candle, though with the same aquatic quality.
Love the curvy bottle (reminds me of Chopard's Casran with its ergonomic design ;^>)and blue colored liquid.

Stunning. This smells awesome on me, and every time I wear it I get compliments. Very well done, although I don't get vanilla at any phase. What I do get from start to finish is an amazing creamy fruity, musk smell that lasts for 6-8 hours +. Every so often I get a whiff of it. I'm guessing its the vanilla in there smoothing the other notes out. This is sensational juice, and a rare find for me. Anything that is the slightest bit musky smells horrid on me. Also, this is something that can be worn in every season. So, this was well worth a blind buy for me.
A fresh soft aquatic. Very easy to where, almost anywhere. Very popular here in Japan. I see it for sale all over the place. I'm willing to pick up a larger bottle at the right price.
For a scent named SAMOURAI, this is hardly cutting edge. It starts off fresh, finds some mild cedar and then fades rather smoothly to light vanilla - all within 3 hours. Rather simple and easygoing though a harsher critic might call it an attempt at minimalism gone wrong.
Based on word of mouth, I wanted to like this more, but I basically smell a nice mild aquatic that dries down into vanilla. For fans of vanilla, this is probably great, but it's one of my least favorite fragrance backbones, so I can't really enjoy it.
