I gave a light spray on my right wrist and WOW--the full bloom of lovely barnyard stink, the true oud shining forth. With enough cardamom and ginger to have an almost "hot" spicy quality. A Christian Carbonnel scent. Top notes are Cardamom, Ginger and Citruses; middle notes Cashmeran, Tobacco, Cedar, and Leather, Tobacco, Cedar and Cashmeran; base of Agarwood (Oud), Tolu Balsam, Opoponax, Vanilla, and Patchouli. The vanilla and patchouli create a quite delicate note of invitation, countering the skanky gorgeousness of that opening, which continues to be a super light signature even after it fades. What a discovery. I would say that this is my second favorite oud after Nishane Hacivat Oud. It makes you just want to curl up against the body of your beloved on a Saturday morning in bed, unshowered, the true beautiful human smell.
