i get iris incense and candied oranges. That sounds nice, but it doesn't settle on my skin and as it dries a sharp alcoholic screechy wood aroma chemical begins to take over and I end up with dirt and rubbing alcohol.

Fruity opening with rooty, earthy iris and violet leaves. The fruits are very sweet and the opening is loud. It's a pretty linear fragrance and after the opening it smells powdery with lipstick like iris and sweet fruits, it goes more on the feminine side.

Like tasting grape soda after getting lipstick on your lips. It's mostly an iris scent but there is some sweetness to round it out in the beginning. Later in the drydown, it's mostly lipstick iris that takes over.

Unisex frag that a guy can pull off but this leans more feminine to me.

Projects and lasts all day, great performance.

Silver Iris starts off as a violet distinct citrus-floral fragrance that evolves within the first two hours to a powdery iris floral with a tonka and amber base. I liked the violet-citrus portion although it's somewhat faint and is overtaken by the more powdery iris notes as the scent evolves. The iris is also a more feminine floral, so Silver Iris seems to change from a uni-sex scent to a feminine powder fragrance as it wears. It's very light and would appeal to someone who wants a personal clean scent with very little projection. A lady might like this, but it's not for me. A kind neutral.

A beautiful, simple, crisp and fresh iris, going towards cucumber, watermelon seeds, peach and grapefruit before ending on a powdery lemon and musk. Mimosa is well present as well. Iris stays all the way, of course.
Longevity is good but sillage is not.

Nice fragrance; didn't go into Sephora with the intent on purchasing, however, stumbled upon the amazing brand of Atelier whom I have never really taken seriously.

Tried both Silver Iris and Santal Carmin and WOW was I captivated by the two not to mention this brand!!

After receiving a sample of both, I fell in love with Silver Iris and the fresh Violet aromatic scent this performs. I get the sharp citrusy feel along with the florals, yet the base is really pronounced here; the Patchouli, Tonka bean and White amber really come through along with the Violet Leaf, Pink Pepper and Blackcurrant as the fragrance opens up.

Silver Iris is a very fitting name as it gives off this airy Iris note that projects quite nicely with the Violet Leaf. I think this is a very unisex fragrance, however, I think the floral cause this to lean more to the feminine side even in that.

**I give this a Neutral rating, not because I don't like it, however due to the feminine aura I get while sampling.**

Longevity is great;
Projection is average as it projects in the beginning, yet becomes a skin scent a few hours later in the dry down.
Silage is also average;

Still may find this in my wardrobe....

An overall stunning fragrance!
