There was a men's amber from Bath
Which was purchased upon some quick math
Though neroli was nice
Even more at the price
Woody amber is what this one hath

If you love you some powd'ry fake wood
Then this good deal to purchase you should
But if dry wood's your fear
Don't come anywhere near
For your very olfactory good

I prefer old Dark Amber For Men
And would purchase a spray can again
There's some coumarin there
For a lovely fougėre
Without ruining the ambery zen

But with this one there's something not right
Hardly any vanilla in sight
Some hydroxycarbone
In the ambergris zone
Sure, it's amber, but not a delight

So I put the two frags to my wife
As I'd trust her fine nose with my life
'Twas made instantly clear
That the wifely nez dear
Chose Dark Amber For Men without strife

Oh, the pain, oh, the womanity
That our noses should once more agree
This may be a fine scent
For some other gal's gent
But it won't see much usage from me

So this bottle of liquefied gas
On which hard now I'm taking a pass
As a ref'rence shall serve
With both vigor and verve
Of what drives off me lov-e-ly lass

Not that I might find usage for this
Interference with marital bliss
Just what never to buy
Should a can catch an eye
With false promises of a girl's kiss

Though your mileage may vary indeed
I assure you this isn't a Creed
So beware the blind buy
As you now know the why
