This is a gorgeous perfume. The bright citrus top mellows into a honeyed, warm floral. It smells like summer to me, but in an intoxicating way like standing in a field of clover and all kinds of field flowers. The kind whose nectar-like scent wafts gently on a gentle summer evening's air. The drydown is less memorable but the overall impression is lovely. It smells natural and yet sophisticated. I wasn't really taken by most of the samples I've tried so far from Annette Neuffer, which I felt were a bit overpoweringly dense and samey. But this one is outstanding. The price is... well, outrageous. I might just still do it. Might.
