So I just received this in the mail. I really like this one by Bois 1920. Spigo...I have read that this is translated to mean "lavender" in Italian.

Opens with a strong woodsy board like smell for the few minutes and that is followed by an edgy sweetness that takes over. This fragrance is not overly sweet; (I think just the right touch of sweetness) with that, I get the bergamot, a hint of lemon and some juniper berries plus the lavender in the top. In the middle, I get the Frankincense. Although there are a host of other notes, unfortunately they remain in the background. In the dry down (bottom) this wonderful cashmere wood, sandalwood, amber and vanilla that is quite unique.

Overall a wonderful fragrance that I am glad to have acquired. I think this is unisex. Stunning juice and I absolutely love it!!

Lot of ingredients listed! What is the result?
Starts with a wet-cardboard note I sometimes encounter in scents. I have never figured out what causes it.
Some lavender here, but it is buried in the mix.
Vanilla lurks in the background.
Also a salty-herbal-metallic chord which I guess is intentional. That chord is distinctive. At times I think I get anise or liquorice in it.
A little too sweet for my liking. And its rather muddled, kitchen-sink approach doesn't appeal to me.
The vanilla got very cloying and the metallic chord got weird. Had to scrub it off.
Waste of good lavender and herbs.
