Leaning towards a thumbs down with this one. I got a sample from the Louis Vuitton store several months ago and I'm finally wearing it today...smells like synthetic cedar with some citrus to me. Honestly, it has a similar vibe to something else I've worn from Louis Vuitton previously...possibly Orage with the citrus and cedar vibe. And, while I didn't mind Orage when I wore it years ago, they both wouldn't be mistaken for a fragrance with many or "any" naturals in them...synthetic smelling to the core.

I don't mind synthetics in perfumes if they don't completely dominate the fragrance, but unfortunately the LV fragrances smell like perfumes an android might wear for a night out on the town. Yeah, I've finally come to it on this one...thumbs down for me.

Also, this perfume like all LV perfumes will fill a room and choke people out if you overspray.

Best way to describe this fragrance would be: Half ass done.

The initial opening (15 minutes) reminded me of dialed down Acqua di Gio, however, where AdG flourishes SLR starts to mellow down.
Not really green, not really fruity, not really cítric or aquatic.

SLR is listed as a Men’s perfume, I disagree it can be masculine or a feminine fragrance since the body and dry down is heavily build on mixed spices (nutmeg, cardamom, pepper).

There’s also note of something similar to leather, again since all the notes are subtle is hard to really tell them apart.

Towards the end that leathery note and the mixed spices, to my nose, becomes something similar to the scent of an apple and by that I mean, an apple cut in half apple that has now turn brown (oxidation).

Of all the LV perfumes that I’ve tried SLR has been the worst performer.

Citrus, woody, musty-leather opening. Has an older, mature vibe in the leather but everything else is very modern. Definitely masculine.

It really reminds me of a more leather-pronounced version of Jo Malone's Oud and Bergamot. Maybe even has that medicinal, band-aid leather smell that I detect in Gucci Guilty Absolute.

Good performance all around on my skin. Projects nicely without being loud and sticks around all day.
