I adore some tea scents. However this one reminds me of The Healing Garden's green tea and that is not a good thing. This is light and so utterly fleeting that I was left wondering, what's the point?

I have a weakness for tea scents and this is a good one, somewhere in between green and black tea, with hints of citrus, greenery and wood. Not quite as green and fresh and "sparkly" as it sounds from the notes, more dry, but still a refreshing tea scent.

I love that review by Calchic because it perfectly illustrates the mystery of Te and how it smells different to each wearer. I do agree that overall, Te is unusual, and that the celery and clove create a unique herbal edge. But after about 5 minutes the herbaceousness tends to fade and the entire composition becomes the scent of steam rising from a pot of just brewed green tea...an effect that I can't say I find in so many of the other aromas that claim to use tea notes.

A strange green tea scent that bizarrely tends toward the broth-like. The weak green tea note here stands no chance against the forces of celery, clove and grapefruit, which band together to form an aroma so much like homemade chicken broth bubbling away on the back burner, it's uncanny. The remaining notes of bergamot and ylang ylang don't even bother to phone it in - they're just nowhere to be found. On the very few occasions I've worn this fragrance, the only favorable reaction I got to it was from my dog; he followed me around sniffing the air the way dogs do when they think you've got a food snack stashed away in your pocket. Truly strange! I stubbornly hold on to the bottle I have of this - I got it many years ago in a trade - strictly because it's so novel. Not wearable at all in any way, shape or form but like a carnival side show act: step right up and see the amazing chicken soup cologne!
