Clean patchouli and milky chocolate musk first on, with crisp bergamot to keep it from being too thick and heavy. A wonderful smooth skin scent very like Worth's Courtesan on me. I keep sniffing my wrist. Perhaps it's the green cumin that gives it a slight woody edge, or it's that patchouli, but there's a nice bite in there, under all the smooth creamy notes. Not a gourmand, but somehow with that same comfortable, snuggly feeling. Lovely. Too bad the bottles are so awful and so expensive.

I AGREE WITH THE WELL WRITTEN REVIEW, BELOW. IF WEARING PERFUME IS AN EXPERIENCE...THEN THE INFIDEL IS EXACTLY THAT. IT TAKES YOU ON A JOURNEY INTO SCENT THAT LASTS, AND LASTS AND LASTS. IT'S SURE WORTH BUYING A SAMPLE AND WAITING FOR IT TO WORK IT'S LIQUID MAGIC.

A most unusual perfume that is built around cumin ,it seems but the cumin is kind of 'clean' ,IMHO. Well ,less sweaty than usual when used in perfume, I guess. It adds a rounded, slightly animalistic nature to this scent which comes across as a strong aromatic fougere with a wonderful citrus beginning ,blackcurrant and lavender are discernable but I am not sure about the magnolia note. All in all quite sharp ,tart and a savory fragance. If you like Jicky and aromatic fougeres - then you will love this one. Strong, good lasting power. The color of the juice is not blood red- that is the color of the bottle. The juice is very pale yellow in color.
