Sampling one of the more recent releases from Authenticity Perfumes, Tobacco Boss, from 2021, a nice blend of the signature note of tobacco, along with citrus, some spicy notes (bay leaf, eucalyptus, leather), and some sweet/powderynotes (vanilla, honey, tonka). While there’s the vaguely synthetic DNA that accompanies much of the brand that may peeve some, the result is good, overall, and I’d recommend that people try this out as an accessible, easy-to-wear tobacco option, has some interesting facets.

As with the rest of the house, Tobacco Boss is priced at $40 for 60ml, very reasonable, and the sample is a great way to try TB and the other 10 fragrances for only $35.50.

With the price and good performance, I expect some could do very well with Tobacco Boss, even though it’s not a tobacco fragrance I especially need in my own collection. The sample pack is affordable, though, (eleven 5ml samples), so I’d recommend checking out the house.
