The opening notes are a fairly unusual combination of juniper, and light lemon-mandarin impression and an intriguing elegantly well-integrated black pepper note, which blends in beautifully; the whole trio works together exceptionally well. The drydown adds an iris component, but this never becomes a primarily floral composition.

The base is a woody, marginally boozy affair, with a hint of wormwood and dry sherry giving it an interesting finish.

The performance displays moderate sillage, very good projection and over nine hours of longevity on my skin.

A pleasant oriental that is not very heavy and intensive, but made well enough with some creativity such as to stand out a bit. 3.25/5.
