Soft and somewhat exotic, TUBEROSE DIABOLIQUE is a composition where the devil lies in the details. It is not going to leave a gloriously scented wake nor will it wave its waxy little white petals at your nose. If at all, this feels more like the enfleuraged version - oily, creamy and mildly narcotic. It wears closely like most parfums do, unveiling layers upon layers of hitherto undiscovered facets to draw your nose closer to a lover's skin. Like a forbidden object of lust, its wickedly slow striptease act is what I find most 'diabolical'.

Notes according to Ava Luxe's site; lndian & Egyptian tuberose, gardenia, amber, exotic spice, white carnation & bitter orange.

This begins as a creamy, coconutty tuberose, with a hint of spice & a touch of gardenia after half an hour. The florals soon disappear, but leave behind a deliciously fresh, moist coconut, with a subtle orange note preventing it from being overly sweet or suntan oil-like. The sillage is soft, as is fairly usual for an oil, but this lasts a good six hours on me.
l am not sure what is supposed to make this tuberose "diabolical"; far from being a scary monster tuberose like Poison, l found this one rather gentle & friendly. And it is far more coconut than tuberose anyway, but if you're looking for an authentic, not-too-sweet-or-beachy coconut fragrance, this is one you should try.
