It was the note list that got my interest first: violet, honey and lavender amongst others. With a note pedigree like that and Christophe Raynaud in charge, what’s not to like?
I blind bought. No regrets whatsoever.
The rounded honey wrap holding the florals and cedar wood together creates an opening burst of summer to warm the coldest winter day.
The dry down is highly seductive in its mellow honeyed miasma and gives me as much pleasure as any niche perfume in my collection. This and Jacques Faith’s Lilas Exquis are the ones I reach for for romantic outings. Performance is good.
Can’t understand why this passes under so many influencers’ radar
Search around and you can obtain it for less than the fairly high mainstream asking price.

Roberto Cavalli Uomo was an impulsive blind buy for me because I saw it at a cheap price, read a bit about it and the notes sounded interesting so I picked it up. I'm very happy I did. Robert Cavalli Uomo is a nice smelling masculine fragrance that carries some sexiness, warmth and class. A beautiful sweet saffron, honey and floral opening which immediately gives the vibes of a good date night fragrance. Although it has a sweet opening it is not excessively sweet and retains some maturity. As the scent dries down the lavender and woody notes are there with the faint honey in the background. I find that Roberto Cavalli Uomo projects very well for the first couple of hours of wear and then becomes a bit more settled and intimate. It lasts most of the day on me. I like this fragrance because it is one of those gems that can be obtained quite cheap but smells and performs more like a designer scent. A solid 4/5 for this fragrance.

Sweet woods abound in this syrupy juice. This is my favorite Cavalli so far. (I recall being disappointed in my bottle of Just Cavalli-it was too generic smelling). Cavalli Uomo, however, is deep and sensuous. A rich, dark fragrance that is sophisticated but not cloying. I agree with other reviews mentioning this is perfect for cooler months. This is the fragrance to wear to your next romantic dinner. Very nice!

Deep, dark, a bit sweet fragrance for colder season and a night out. Very well received and complimented.

Overall, very nice quality for the price. Longevity is good, ~8 hours on my skin, with an above average projection for close to two hours.

The scent 8/10
Projection/sillage 8/10
Price/value 7/10

Not seeing any cardamom listed but this seems like a serviceable La Nuit stand-in and maybe closer to Bvlgari Man in Black.

I do get the honey note. It's not the featured note or even loud enough to reference this as a honey-frag, but it's there.

Projection is average but longevity is good, lasts all workday.

To appreciate this, you have to smell the Silver Essence flanker as well.

At first, I thought, another me too. Well done, but it is a copy. Then I smelled the SE and then this again and it came alive.

The honey came across, nice and dirty like honey should be. And Iw as immediately drawn to it. A must sniff. Done in that obtuse Cavalli way that is oh so Italian and daring/bold.
