Velvet Iris
Alexandria Fragrances (2017)

Very similar to Dior Homme Intense. Lots of clean iris and sweet, amber, almost vanilla-like. I wore them side-by-side to compare. Here's what I found.

DHI has more of the pencil shavings in the opening but otherwise, it's very close. In the drydown, DHI has more of an animalic leather scent mixing with the iris, but again, pretty close.

Both have strong performance. DHI is slightly better in projection and a clear winner in longevity but Velvet Iris lasts 10+ hours on my skin, so no issues there.
