Hats off to Armaf for a highly successful clone of Dior Sauvage. Yes, the bizarre plastic radiator casing of the bottle is low-rent, but the contents are a very fine tribute to the house blending team. My memory of DS is still quite fresh, yet I simply cannot pinpoint any deviation from the original, although, of course, better noses than mine may disagree.
Where it falls slightly short of DS, however, is in performance and sillage. I can get to just past lunchtime after an early start, but at £25 for 100 ml, everybody can afford an extra scoosh or two come the afternoon.
This interpretation of DS is what gives clones a good name.

Wow. Beautiful scent from Armaf. Ventana lacks the longevity of Sauvage but is a great example of a clone done correctly. I love most of the Armaf fragrances but the bottles (like this plastic-cased one) can be a bit tacky. However, the ingredients within are exceptional.

This will be a short review. Pure clone of Dior Sauvage.
Ratio 95% Dior Sauvage 5% Prada Luna Rossa Carbon. That's it. Really nothing more to add here.

Originality 1/10
Scent 8/10 (objectively) but 6/10 (subjectively) as I was never a Sauvage fan and never jumped on that hype train.
Longevity 8/10
Projection 8/10

I'll rate it positively on account that Armaf made a perfect, good quality copy for significantly lower price.
