The scent that made me fall in love with vetiver. It's neither the most remarkable vetiver scent, nor the best representation of it. But if you're looking for a solid starter vetiver fragrance, try it. The scent is great but the longetivity and projection are not.

A bright, luminous vetiver fragrance that balances the grassy, fresh aspects of the root with a dash of earthy bitterness. Plum provides fruitiness à la Bal d'Afrique, and while there is definitely a big similarity between the two, Vetiver Fatal is far less floral and far more unisex. Contributing a bit more of a masculine character to the blend is a very present violet leaf note (to my nose). This fragrance is also far soapier than Bal d'Afrique. Nevertheless, this is still quite unisex and quite lovely - a grassy, soapy, fresh, slightly fruity, and clean fragrance that is sure not to offend even the most sensitive noses. Performance is nothing to write home (or on Fragrantica) about, but is definitely a little bit better than Atelier's citrus centric fragrances (and better than Bal d'Afrique), with around 6 hours of longevity and mild projection and sillage in an air conditioned office environment or a warm, not blazing hot day. I wore this on a humid early September day here in Taiwan and the fragrance was little more than a distant memory on my skin by the time I had arrived at work a mere 15 minutes later. Worn appropriately, though, you can squeeze a little bit more out of it. Overall, I enjoy Vetiver Fatal, but I don't think that I'll be buying a fb after my decant runs out, unless I can find a good deal on the discounters. My favorite fresh vetivers remain Tom Ford's Grey Vetiver, Ormond Jayne Zizan, and Lalique Encre Noire Sport.

The vetiver is indeed the centerpiece of this creation and present straight from the beginning. It is light, bright and slim, and garnished with a bit of bergamot and a few drops of lemon. On me this vetiver is quite straightforward and lacks any earthiness or wood components.

The drydown adds light undertones of a bright violet with some orange blossom impression, whilst the base is characterised by the presence of a nonspecific woodsiness.

The sillage is moderate, and I get limited projection with seven hours of longevity on my skin.

A bright and summery vetiver scent that is not bad at all, but lacks texture, depth, and whose notes are a bit thin and generic at times in the later stages of its development. 2.75/5.

I am not a connoisseur who will eulogise about the beauty of composition of musical notes and the song that is created by its dynamic flux between different stages. This is understandably a passionate occupation for some. My reviews reflect the simple question most of the buying public has : does this smell good or bad and if so why.
This one starts off with a fresh citrusy vetiver accord raising my hopes slightly then dashes them by collapsing into a slightly effeminate fougere. For someone who is looking for a bright clean masculine cologne then move on. A complete waste of time. Also an average performer - but what is not average is the Thrasos (the cheek!) as they say in Greece. The ridiculous price. Full marks for Thrasos then. Note that one third of Greeks are on the poverty line thanks to the EU and corrupt politicians yet such is their sense of priority this probably sells well there.

A bright fresh vetiver with a faint hint of plum. Simple. Clean. Interesting. Original. Slightly metallic and cold. A perfect summer office grab and go.

Starts out with a citrus and Vetiver combination that is very nice. As it calms down you get a subtle and light wood vibe. The Vetiver remains throughout the fragrance. 8/10
