Agony and ecstasy: black leather and damp red rose.

Very soapy rose and lily of the valley, so soapy it's kind of sour. Leather can only be felt in the top notes but later it fades out completely.
I truly dislike this type of soapy muguety rose. I feel like I'm being whipped by this scent for all my naughty deeds - and not in a sexy way.
If you love soapy rose and rose soap, definitely try this, just keep it away from me.

Counter intuitively: Whip is a rose scent, not really a leather scent. At first the rose note is enjoyable for me – it's light and soft and fresh. The rose note grows, though, and becomes deeper and quite sequentially more heady. It doesn't take much for me to call a rose note “heady,” and this one crosses the line for me. I would imagine it is a darn good rose scent for those who like rose scents, but to me it gets too much... it gets too cloying. Also, there is little else to the fragrance except for a soft leather note in the background that offers minimal improvement of the fragrance for me. That's it… strong sillage and lasts very long.
