The "white citrus" myth
Like most Muskovian myths
Is illusory.

Based on persistent
False teachings of fake citrus
And appealing but

Debunked fresh facets

And Laundry Muskettes)
The myth relies upon the
Innocent nature

Of citrus lovers
Wishing the impossible
"Eternal citrus"

Or some such nonsense.
Then throw in some appeals to
Floral religions

(Especially the
Notorious "White Flowers")
And one can see how

People fall for this.
Well, brand politics aside
It thus becomes our

Duty to inform
Our fellow citruzens of
These realities.

Citric and floral
Religions do have a role
In society

They do not tell us
How fragrance works, but rather
How we can smell good

And yet we can find
Through truth of citric beauty
Beauty in the Truth.

This is another scent that is quite similar to "Happy" by Clinique (or, at least, quite similar to the feminine version of that scent.) which I also wrote a review on not too long ago.
When you first spritz this scent on (in the body mist) you immediately get the lovely clean, fresh, bright scent of lemons and limes. I think this site lists it as tangerine and grapefruit, but to me the notes smell more like lemon-lime than anything else, although I think I can also get a bit of the orange scent too. That scent then dries down into a very pretty, sweet watery floral heart, with just a hint of lemon and orange zest mixed in. After about 20 minutes or so, the dry down eventually turns into the scent of froot loops breakfast cereal. Just to be clear, I'm not making fun of this scent, I absolutely love it! I recommend "White Citrus" to everyone I know! I think that froot loops scented body mist is pure genius! It's one of the greatest scents in the world! I probably wouldn't pay a ton of money for an expensive perfume that smelled like this, but as a Bath and Body Works scent, it is absolutely brilliant, and one of my absolute favorite things!
I would almost want to say that this fragrance should be categorized as a unisex "sports scent", like most citrus fragrances are. However, I honestly feel like this one is too pretty, sweet and flowery to be categorized that way. I feel like this scent is undeniably feminine and undeniably young! It comes across as fresh, playful, sweet, juicy and sparkling. Again, I highly recommend this to everyone who loves a sweet, fruity-floral scent. It's not necessarily for everyone who loves citrus though.

Tart and zesty, a great pick-me-up scent for hot days. A very easy wear.
