Avon (1968)

A very nice fresh scent Avon broke way too early. This stuff would sell great these days. Oddly despite a 1995 reissue it didn't catch on. My 1969 sample was fine for the purposes of review.

You get a nice refeshing cool minty/menthol blast. This actually feels cool on your skin, would make for an awesome aftershave, or if you had enough a nice summer slapsh.

This is followed by?... a nice crisp citrus, kind of on the terms of lemon peel, a little bit more in that direction than some, but this had to have been almost revolutionary at the time.

Woodsy spicy drydown follows, decently balanced.

They couldn't have executed a better variant after all these years? Avon was ahead of the trend on this stuff, it does what many colognes are trying to do today, but bette. Thankfully it was so abunant you could technically find some today without much trouble.

It probably didn't fit the stuff of the time but today it smells curren despite its old age.
