UK fashion brand, Superdry, known for its blend of Americana and Japanese-inspired designs, has launched a new fragrance duo, “Real Superdry 01”.
The new fragrance duo, “Real Superdry 01”, consists of a male and female fragrance, and are exclusively available at The Fragrance Shop across the UK starting today, the fragrances are priced competitively at £25 for 30ml, £35 for 50ml, and £45 for 100ml.
The fragrance creation was directed by Superdry CEO Julian Dunkerton, who oversaw perfumers Nathalie Lorson and Alexandra Monet. Lorson contributed to both the masculine and feminine versions, while Monet focused specifically on the masculine fragrance.
A Superdry spokesperson told FashionNetwork that, “from a singular unisex fragrance, twin olfactory expressions emerge, crafted into distinct echoes of both masculine and feminine essences”.
The fragrances share a common foundation that unfolds “as unique and separate narratives.”
The masculine scent reveals “a dance of salty mineral woody notes intertwined with the dynamism of citrus, cooled by the aromatic vibrations of Hinoki,” while “The feminine interpretation delicately navigates mineral woodiness, unveiling a tender floral freshness”.
The new duo has been created in partnership with the Lalique Group, who signed up Superdry in 2022. Lalique’s other brands include Brioni, Jaguar, Parfums Grès, and Bentley.
